Enhancing Your Skills and Training

If you consider what workforce planning is - matching demand with the right number of staff with the right skills, behaviours and attitudes in the right place at the right time - then you soon realise that there are a lot of skills that you might need.

The good news is, that you don't need all of them - any more than a Social Worker needs the same skills as an Oncology Consultant. Not only do you not need all the skills, but you'll need some of them at different levels.

The Skills Builder

When you become a member, you will get access to the Skills Builder, which will allow you to see a suggested set of skills - which change depending on your role, to add new skills you want to learn, and suggest training options so that you can broaden your knowledge.
